Delivery & Returns
As you can imagine, a lot of hard work and coordination goes on behind the scenes to bring you the very best in home furnishings. At Gillies we pride ourselves in backing this up with an expert delivery, fitting and after sales service. Our experienced delivery fitting teams will take great care to place your furniture where you would like it, or to fit your flooring with minimum disruption and to your satisfaction. Once you are happy with everything we will take away all rubbish for recycling, before leaving you to enjoy your new purchase.
Furniture Deliveries
Estimated Lead Time: 10 working days from receiving stock.
Upon receiving your order, a member of our delivery team will personally contact you to arrange a mutually suitable delivery date.
To allow us to price our goods competitively, we do not include delivery within the price of goods so that you only pay one fixed delivery price for as many items as you would like. Delivery costs vary depending upon your location and will be clearly itemised at checkout stage. We only delivery within Scotland.
When placing an order with Gillies please make sure to add your mobile phone number, this allows our Delivery Team to send you a text message the day before delivery giving you an estimated two hour delivery slot.
Carpet & Flooring Installations
We have a variety of installation packages available so you can tailor your purchase to what you would like, and only pay for what you need!
Standard Fitting: This is based on our fitters arriving to areas clear of furniture and existing floor coverings.
Premier Fitting: This is based on the areas being completely clear of furniture and our fitters uplifting the existing floor coverings for recycling.
Ultimate Fitting: This is based on our fitters uplifting the existing flooring and moving all furniture. We do ask that all small and delicate items, as well as electrical equipment, are removed prior to fitting.
Gifts, Cookware & Linens
Delivery will be undertaken by a designated courier service. The cost of delivery will be dependent upon the weight and size of the item/s, this will be itemised at checkout. Should you prefer to collect the items from a Gillies store, please note this on your order and we will contact you to arrange; in this event any delivery charges will be refunded.
