October 18th Breast Cancer Awareness Day
Fundraising is a passion of ours and we have continued our efforts to raise money for fantastic charities by encouraging our staff to get involved in breast cancer awareness month this October.
Why? Because as ‘Breast Cancer Now’ Cancer unfortunately still plays a huge and heart-breaking part in so many peopled live that with the help of funds could hopefully be remedied by 2050; this organisation hope that by this time everyone who develops breast cancer will live and live well.
So, our team have been busy getting their hands messy by baking cakes and sweet treats that were then sold amongst the staff at the Broughty Ferry store. From cupcakes to tray bakes all were well snapped up quickly as you can see!
Managing to raise over £100 by just selling delicious cakes!
Additionally, we urged everyone to get dressed for the occasion and ‘wear it pink’ which saw staff sporting their best pink attire for the day. Our best dressed had to be our Office Manager Izzy who went all out and wore a stylish pink bobbed wig for the occasion! We appreciated everyone’s efforts and think pink is their colour!
Thanks to the generosity and willingness of the staff the brilliant sum of money we manage to raise will now go to help make life-saving research happen!
