| Standard Fitting |
This is based on our fitters arriving to areas completely clear of furniture and any existing floor coverings, prior to fitting your new flooring. |
The lead time for floor fitting varies so the below should act as an approximate guide only.

This is based on the area being completely clear of furniture and our fitters uplifting your existing floor coverings for recycling, prior to fitting your new flooring. |

| Ultimate Fitting |
This is based on our fitters moving any furniture, uplifting your existing floor coverings, fitting your new flooring then moving your furniture back. We do ask that small & delicate items, as well as electrical equipment are moved prior to fitting. |
How do I measure my room accurately?
Gillies offer a no-obligation, free home measuring and estimating service. We will visit your home on a pre-arranged day to have a look at the flooring work you require, take all relevant sizes, and provide you with an accurate quote, so there really is no need for you to take accurate sizes. However, you may find it useful to bring some approximate sizes in-store so that we can give you an estimated quote prior to arranging a home visit.
How quickly will I be able to arrange fitting?
Upon receiving your order, a member of our flooring operations team will personally contact you to arrange a mutually suitable fitting date. The lead times vary between each type of flooring with carpets normally within 14-21 working days and Amtico/Moduleo/LVT normally around 5-7 weeks. From time-to-time these lead times extend, and similarly during quieter periods we can often offer quicker fitting dates. If you have a date in mind, please let us know at point of sale and we’ll do everything possible to make it happen.
Where do the floor fitting teams operate?
Our floor fitting teams operate throughout most of Scotland. Daily & weekly fittings take place in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Angus, Arbroath, Brechin, Dundee, Edinburgh, Fife, Forfar, Montrose, Perth, Perthshire, Stonehaven, St. Andrews and more.
What will happen with any carpet off-cuts?
Our installation teams will leave any reasonable sized offcuts in your home, taking away all the smaller cuttings, unless you specify separately a preferred alternative arrangement.
