Once all your items are in stock, we will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date.
Delivery is approx 10 days. *Delivery charge may vary for locations outwith 25 miles of your local store.*

Carpets & Flooring          
Standard Fitting
This is based on our fitters arriving to areas clear of furniture and existing floor coverings

Premier Fitting
This is based on the area being completely clear of furniture and our fitters uplifting the existing floor coverings for recycling.

Ultimate Fitting
This is based on our fitters uplifting existing floor coverings and all furniture. We do ask that small, delicate items, as well as electrical equipment are moved prior to fitting.

Home Accessories
For items from our home accessories department we will send your items via our designated courier service.
Delivery is tracked and usually between 2 - 4 days

Click & Collect Majority of our products are available for click and collect from a store of your choice.

Upon receiving your order, a member of our delivery team will personally contact you to arrange a mutually suitable delivery date. Estimated Lead Time: 10 working days from receiving stock at our Warehouse.
At the point of sale by providing a mobile number this will allow our delivery team to liaise with you the whole way through the process. We can also provide a text the day before delivery with an estimated 2 hour delivery window. Any questions you can also call our delivery team on 01382 731462.
Gillies delivers throughout the whole of Scotland. You will receive a quote when placing your order depending on your distance from a Gillies store
Our Delivery Team will bring the items into your home and remove any of the necessary packaging to be recycled. For all Carpet deliveries depending on the package you choose our Carpet Fitters will remove existing floor coverings.

Returns

Most of the products we display, stock, and sell are of a big and bulky nature. Everything from sofas, dining sets, beds, carpets, etc are not the easiest of items to simply get home and decide it’s not for you! We acknowledge that it can be tricky to imagine these items in your home, and therefore our staff are trained to assist in providing you with the right information to make the correct decision first time around. All dimensions, samples, specification and prices are available in store and our staff would be more than delighted to help you find the items which are right for you. We try our utmost to instil a relaxing shopping experience and not to put any pressure on you whilst you pick what’s right for your house.

Return Guidelines

Due to the nature of these products, it is very difficult to put in place a simple returns policy. For furniture we provide specification sheets, including dimensions, for customers to print online or take home prior to purchasing to make sure your purchases will fit in your home. For flooring and soft furnishings, we offer a free estimating services so we can obtain accurate measurements and evaluate any access considerations.

Furniture

If your item/s are purchased from stock, and once in your home you find they are not suitable, we can often accept a return of these items. In this event, the original delivery charge will not be refunded and a delivery uplift charge would apply; this can often be more expensive than our standard delivery service which is partly subsided by your purchase. Please note that clearance is excluded and that also due to hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns of mattresses or beds unless identified as faulty.

Any goods which are made to order and are in-progress with our supplier/s are unable to be cancelled. We will only consider cancellations/changes to your order if we receive your written request to do so before the goods have commenced production by the manufacturer. We cannot accept cancellations after this stage.

Should you find a problem or fault with your furniture, please contact our customer service department 01382 901130 where we will endeavour to establish a suitable resolution.

Carpets, Flooring and Soft Furnishings

As you would expect, the nature of these products being cut and altered from their original size to fit your property means that we are unable to accept any returns due to the diminished value of the altered product. Should the fitted goods be found faulty then Gillies will endeavour to establish a suitable resolution by way of repair, replacement or reselection.

Any goods which are made to order and are in-progress with our supplier are unable to be cancelled. We will only consider cancellations/changes to your order if we receive your written request to do so before the goods have commenced production by the manufacturer. We cannot accept cancellations after this stage.

Gifts, Accessories, Lighting, Linen and Bedding

If you wish to return or exchange your items, you may do so on the condition that the goods are in the original condition with packaging undamaged. All returns must be accompanied with the original receipt and within 28 days of purchase.

Due to hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns of pillows, duvets, mattress protectors, and pillow protectors regardless of date of purchase, or whether they have been unopened.

We many only cancel your order if we are unable to supply the goods due to any cause beyond our reasonable control. In the event of cancellation of an order by either party, the Company’s liability will be limited to a refund of any monies paid.
